Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in a comparable way. They help a site work, remember your settings and, with your consent, show how the site is used.
2. Your consent
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, we only set strictly necessary cookies without asking. All other cookies are off until you accept them through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using here or in the footer of our website.
3. Cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Duration | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Log you in, keep your session secure and remember your cookie choices | Authentication session token (local storage), vertexhr_cookie_consent (local storage) | Authentication: until sign-out or session expiry; consent: 180 days | No |
| Functional | Remember preferences such as table layouts and last-selected views | No optional functional cookies currently set | Not applicable | Yes, if introduced |
| Analytics | Understand how visitors use the website and app so we can improve it | No analytics provider configured; no analytics cookies currently set | Not applicable | Yes, if introduced |
| Marketing | Measure ad campaigns and show relevant adverts on other sites | No advertising pixels or marketing cookies currently set | Not applicable | Yes, if introduced |
The settings panel lists the storage used for consent and authentication and whether optional categories are in use. Your choice is saved for 180 days in this browser; after that we ask again. Choices apply separately on each website domain and device.
4. Third-party cookies
No optional third-party analytics or advertising cookies are currently configured by VertexHR. There is no analytics provider to name at present. If we introduce one, we will update this policy and request fresh consent before activating it.
5. Managing cookies
You can accept all, reject optional cookies, or save individual category preferences in our cookie banner. To change or withdraw consent, open and save your new choices. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage can stop you from logging in to VertexHR.
